Revolving credit

The Financea revolving credit provides you with a reserve of money that you use when you need it, in one or more installments. You only pay interest on the amounts actually used, and your reserve is replenished as you make repayments.

An available reserve

Use all or part of your reserve, whenever it suits you.

You only pay for what you use

No interest on the portion of the reserve you do not use.

Automatic replenishment

Each repayment reloads your reserve, with no new steps required.

01

How a money reserve works

When your contract is set up, we grant you a reserve of a determined amount, for example €3,000. You can use it in full, in small amounts, or not at all. The amounts used are repaid in monthly installments, and each repayment frees up available funds in your reserve again. This circular mechanism distinguishes revolving credit from a personal loan, where the sum is paid out once and for all.

02

You only pay interest on what you use

This is the structural advantage of revolving credit. As long as you do not use your reserve, it costs you nothing. When you draw from it, interest is calculated on the amount used and the actual duration of its repayment—not on the granted limit. Financing an €800 purchase therefore only costs the interest on that €800.

03

A monthly payment that adapts to your usage

Each use results in a repayment schedule. Depending on your contract, you can repay in fixed monthly installments over a set period, or opt for more flexible repayment based on your balance. A partial early repayment reduces future interest accordingly and immediately replenishes your available balance.

04

Most frequent uses

Revolving credit is well-suited for everyday expenses and unforeseen events, where a personal loan would be disproportionate or too slow to set up.

  • Equipment and furniture purchases
  • Repairs and unforeseen expenses
  • Non-reimbursed health expenses
  • Smoothing out a large one-time expense
05

Your rights and important points

Revolving credit remains a loan: it is a commitment and must be repaid. The reserve replenishes itself, which can create the impression of an expandable budget—it is therefore recommended to set a usage limit yourself and stick to it. You have a 14-day cooling-off period and can, at any time, repay early or request a reduction in your reserve limit.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about this financing

A personal loan provides a defined amount in one go, repaid through constant monthly payments. Revolving credit provides a reserve that you use at your own pace, which replenishes with each repayment.

Credit commits you and must be repaid. Check your repayment capacity before committing. No payment of any kind can be required from an individual before obtaining one or more loans.
